Air-fried Mozzarella Balls

One of my childhood favorites was mozzarella sticks and trust me they are still a favorite of mine however I wanted to make an at home version that was quick and easy to make, lower in fat with a boost in fiber – so here we are with my version of mini Air-fried Mozzarella Balls!

Ingredients:
1. 1 pack of Fresh (mini) Mozzarella balls
2. 2 Eggs, beaten
3. 1/2 – 1 cup Organic Fine Wheat bran
4. 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
5. 1/2 cup Fiber Gourmet Flour
6. 1/2 tsp Salt
7. 1/4 tsp Pepper
8. 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
9. Oil spray

Directions:
1. In one deep dish/bowl beat 2 eggs, in another mix fiber gourmet flour + salt, pepper garlic powder and in the 3rd mix wheat bran and Italian seasoning
2. Roll mozzarella balls in flour, shake off excess then coat in egg, shake off excess then coat in seasoned “bread” crumbs
3. Line mozz balls on parchment paper or foil
4. Put coated mozz balls in the freezer for ~2-3 hrs.
5. Take out of freezer and cook in air fryer at 375 for 5-7 minutes (time may differ for your air fryer – keep an eye on them so that they don’t fully melt & fall apart)
6. Enjoy with side of @carbonefinefood vodka sauce or your favorite marinara sauce for dipping!

Enjoy as an appetizer or pair with salad & veggies for a meal🍽️
